HTB Certified Active Directory Pentesting Expert (HTB CAPE)

I passed the exam on May 30, 2025

HTB CAPE certification holders will possess technical competency in AD and Windows penetration testing, understanding and exploiting complex attack paths. They will demonstrate proficiency in attacking protocols like Kerberos and NTLM, exploiting AD misconfigurations and components such as ADCS, WSUS, Exchange, and Domain Trusts. They will leverage specialized tools, use C2 frameworks for post-exploitation, and conduct professional internal penetration tests in modern AD environments.

HTB Certified Penetration Testing Specialist (HTB CPTS)

HTB CPTS holders will possess technical competency in the ethical hacking and penetration testing domains at an intermediate level. They will be able to spot security issues and identify avenues of exploitation that may not be immediately apparent from searching for CVEs or known exploit PoCs. They can also think outside the box, chain multiple vulnerabilities to showcase maximum impact, and actionably help organizations remediate vulnerabilities through commercial-grade pentesting reports.

Hack The Box Certified Web Exploitation Specialist (HTB CWES)

HTB CWES holders possess technical competency in the bug bounty hunting and web penetration testing domains at an intermediate level. They will be able to spot security issues and identify avenues of exploitation that may not be immediately apparent from searching for CVEs or known exploit PoCs. They can also think outside the box, chain multiple vulnerabilities to showcase maximum impact, and actionably help developers remediate vulnerabilities through commercial-grade bug reports.
